Polesden Lacey was looking positively lovely again on our second visit to see this beautiful National Trust property.
With over 350,000 visitors to the house and parkland a year, there is no doubt about the popularity of Polesden Lacey with visitors in the southeast. There is a packed events calendar this year with some great dates including jazz every Sunday afternoon on the lawn and camping in the parks woodland with stories and a fire to sit round!
There is also an extensive programme of renovation and improvement to both the main house and gardens underway.
Our visit was to have a look at the playground area which is now a little tired and in need of a refurbish and rebuild and come up with some concept designs for a new set of features which will not only be a playground but a place for mums and dads also, with picnicking tables and benches. We were fizzing with ideas after we left and can’t wait to start sketching out what’s in our head.
