Royal Military Canal

Entrance Features and Interpretation

Kate came and had a chat with us about this project as she was concerned about vehicles gaining access to the paths which follow the Royal Military Canal. It’s used heavily by walkers and cyclists who were being put at risk by people driving onto the path. Kate had seen some draw-beam style gates in France and she asked us if we could come up with something similar for the entrances to the path at various locations.

Added to these gates, we also produced three interpretation panels along the route, one of which was mounted to a stone cairn, build by our installation team at ARC.

We also re-designed the leaflet to accompany the route which also has one of our eye-catching 3D illustrated maps inside.
